Jay Junior Sanner, 56, of Bethany died 11:15 a.m. Saturday in Decatur Memorial hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in McMullin Funeral Home in Bethany with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Born Feb. 2, 1927 in Bethany , he was the son of Jay and Flossie (Davis) Sanner. He was member of Bethany First Christian Church , Bethany American Legion Post 507 and a World War II veteran. He married Betty Light July 20, 1946 in Bethany.
Surviving are his wife; daughters Connie Orris of Dalton City and Cindy Sanner of Chicago; mother of Macomb; brother, William of Decatur; two grandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorials to the Decatur Memorial Hospital-Oncology Department.
