Mrs. Lanier, 77, of Pineville died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Rapides General Hospital.
She was a foster grandparent at Pinecrest State School, Pineville.
Survivors include six sons, John Hayes, Isaac Hayes and Joe Hayes, all of Pineville, Lod Hayes of Arlington, Texas, Harry Hayes of New Orleans and -arl Hayes of Bowling Green, Kty.; two daughters, Mary Sue Krantz of Lake Charles and Pearl Day Barrick of Baton Rouge; 37 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 5-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
