Funeral Services for Clifton Brisco, 95, of Caddo, Oklahoma will be Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Church of Christ in Caddo, Oklahoma at 2:00 PM. Bro. Bill Northam will officiate. Burial will be at Caney Cemetery. Clifton was born Sunday, February 1, 1914 West of Davis, Oklahoma to Monroe & Vinnie Lou (Jamison) Brisco. He passed from this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at his residence in Caddo. Clifton owned and operated a laundromat in Bokchito, Oklahoma for 20 years. He was a small town farmer and cattleman as well as a very hard worker. He raised watermelons at one time in Atoka County. Clifton married Allie (Scott) on December 12, 1936 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on October 30, 1988. Clifton was a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Caddo. Also preceded in death by: Parents: Monroe & Vinnie Brisco; Brothers: William, Harvie, Roscoe Brisco; Sisters: Myrtle Harmon, Amy Mackey, Shug Joplin, Eula Mae Sample. Survivors include: Daughter: Kathryn Brisco of Caddo, Oklahoma; Son: Delbert Brisco of Southport, Florida; 2 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; 2 Step-Great Grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be: Orgel Mulligan, Paul Redden, Lloyd Owens, Darius Jenkins, Jerry Proctor, Benny Green. Honorary Pallbearers include: Arvil Milligan, Leo Campbell, Aubrey Stanfield, Gene Austin.
