FRITCH - Jimmy Ray Edwards, 57, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church at Sanford with the Rev. Bob Thomas, Crown of Texas Hospice chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Edwards was an environmental analyst for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 31 years. He married Sylvia Carpenter on July 5, 1988, at Stinnett.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Justin Edwards of Borger; six daughters, Christy Edwards Comer and Leticia Edwards, both of Borger, Gwynn McIntire and Tina McGill, both of Fritch, Mindy West of Waco and Sheila Lowry of Conroe; his father, James F. Edwards of Tishomingo, Okla.; two sisters, Kerry Karnes of Borger and Faye Willson of Conway Springs, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
