Motion Picture Director. He is best remembered for his 'Spaghetti Western' film genre, which were motion pictures that had their stories set in the American western frontier of the 19th century, but were actually filmed in the countrysides of Italy. These include the noted films "A Fistful of Dollars" (1964), "For a Few Dollars More" (1965), "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966), "Once Upon a Time in the West" (1968), and "A Fistful of Dynamite" (1971, also known as "Duck, You Sucker!").
