Luke was the son of Anna Clara Wakley, who lived until age 103 and a half. His father, Isaac William Bloxham lived to 83 years old and Luke and his wife were blessed to live for 97 and 94 years, respectively.
He married Helen Leslie Woodward 30 June 1943 at Blackfoot, Bingham, Idaho.
Leslie and Luke had two sons and one daughter.
