Stanley "Spid" Doolittle was the son of Walter Anthony and Grace (Bratt) Doolittle and the younger brother of Donald Walter Doolittle, who preceded him in death in 1977 . He also ha a half-sister, Ruby Morgan Purdin, and half-brother, Ernest Morgan. He married June Freshour in 1939 and they had one daughter, Judy. Spid proudly served his country in WWII. and was a creative artist and jewelry maker.
