Funeral services for Bennie G. Blair, 55, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Caldwell Ridge Cemetery, Knifely, Ky. He died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was a native of Lebanon, Ky. and was an operator for EMC, Corporation at the City of New Albany Sewage Treatment Plant. He was a member of the Manzanita Tribe 276 IOOR, the New Albany Elks Lodge 270 and the Democrat Men's Club. He was a Democrat Precinct Committeeman and was a member of the N.R.A.
Survivors include his brother, James Irvin Blair, New Albany and a multitude of friends.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to WHAS Crusade for Children or the American Cancer Society.
