Barbara Aileen Johnson passed away peacefully October 8, 2011.
She was born November 29, 1936 in Rockford, Colorado and has been a long time resident of Simi Valley.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 53 years, Morris Johnson.
Barbara was known as a strong woman of great faith, a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her three children Mark Johnson and his wife MaryJo, Michael Johnson and his wife Kim and Linda Meinberg and her husband Don.
There will be a funeral service Saturday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home with interment to follow immediately at Simi Valley Cemetery.

She was a long time resident of Simi Valley, Ca. where and her husband, Morris, owned and operated a Chevron station and garage. Barbara was born November 29, 1936 in Rocky Ford, Co. moving to Madera in 1948. She received her education in Madera and graduated from Madera High School in 1954.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Morris, parents, Haskell and Wilma Buckley, and brother, Jerry Hill. She is survived by three children, Mark Johnson, Mike Johnson, and Linda Meinberg, five grandchildren, and brothers Don Hill of Fresno, Larry Hill, Bill Hill, and Tom Buckley of Madera, and Jim Buckley of Newbury Park. Services and interment will be Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Simi Valley.
