Gladys was age 91 at the time of her passing. She was born to the late Harvey and Cora Merrill in Elyria, OH on December 20, 1919. Besides her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Arnise L. Fowler and brother Howard Merrill. She is survived by her three children, one sister and seven grandchildren, and many great grand children. "Gladys loved quilting, sewing, baking, and teaching music to her grandchildren. Her mission was her family and passed on an appreciation for the simple things in life." A Graveside service was held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Sunset Cemetery.
