Melba McKinney, 90, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, in Bedford.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Visitation: The family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Melba was born in Mansfield on Nov. 9, 1920. She was one of seven children born to the late Maggie and Odrey Allcock and was the beloved wife of the late Wilson McKinney. She was a member of Evergreen Lodge 170 of the Aux. UTU for 60-plus years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson McKinney.

Survivors: Daughter, Marie McCormick; son, David McKinney; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, James, Dorothy, Ernest, Margaret and Billie.
