Pauline Harp Boswell, 94 of Gladstone, Mo passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006 at her home. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, 12-13-2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Donations to the Highlands Community of Christ in Kansas City North. Pauline was born January 29, 1912 in Leon, Iowa to Louis and Lura (Hague) Fesler. She grew up in Iowa graduating from high school in Lamoni, Iowa. She had worked as a pricing clerk for Montgomery Wards for a number of years before retiring in 1969. She had also worked for Nellie Don Dress Company and for Sears. She was married to Bradford L. Harp in 1928, he passed away in 1973. She then married Melvin "Doc" Boswell in 1974, he passed away in 1989. Survivors include; a daughter, Alta Mae McCann of Kansas City, MO; a son, Harold Lloyd Harp of Neosho, Mo; step children Congressman Leonard Boswell of Des Moines, IA and LaRita Foster of Lamoni, IA; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren and 9 step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bradford Eugene Harp in 1978 and a daughter, Mary Jane Heishman in 1996.
