Abram F. married first Caroline E. Chapman of South Carolina, by whom he had the following children, viz.: Jane Eleanor, Clark, Mary Edmonds, Herndon, Elizabeth Smith, Webb, Charles, who died unmarried, and Nathaniel, who died young. Caroline E. Chapman, first wife of Abram F.
