Dorothy L. Delugach, 83, of Memphis, died Thursday, October 13, 2011, at her home, after a long illness. She was born June 1, 1928, to parents Lula May and William Garner McNeil of Haywood County, Tennessee. She was a graduate of the 1947 class of Southside High School. Dorothy was the widow of Delmar Elvene George and Gilbert Delugach. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, William G. McNeil, Jr. and Ralph E. McNeil. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium, 3788 Summer Avenue with burial immediately following at Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. The family will receive guests from noon until the service begins at 2 p.m. Dorothy, a past Worthy Matron, was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was retired from Samuelson-Leon Tobacco Company following more than 40 years of service. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Richard L. McNeil, Sr. (Doris) of Southaven and sister-in-law, Juanice Capps, of Hernando. Nephews, Richard L. McNeil, Jr. (Karen), of Hernando, and Michael W. McNeil (Carol), of Nesbit, and niece, Lori M. Albers (Michael), of Southaven, along with 5 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces will truly miss "Aunt Dot". In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorials be sent to West Clinic or a charity of the donor's choice.
