Corpus Christi, Texas, May 14 (AP). - An instructor, and aviation cadet and four enlisted men were killed when a seaplane crashed Friday, fifteen miles northeast of the Naval Air Station on the mud flats of Harbor Island, the naval station announced Sunday.
Killed were:
Ensign Dexter Junior Russell, 24, Merlin, Ore.; Aviation Cadet Francis Joseph Tobin, 20, Washington, D.C.; Benjamin Franklin Neves, 19, aviation machinist's mate, second class, Jerymyn, Texas; Charles Edward McWilliams, 22, seaman first class, Trinity, Texas; Franklin Ernest Adams, 27, ship's cook, third class, formerly of Kingsville, Texas, and Sammie Green, 27, steward's mate, first class, formerly of Cuero, Texas.
