Larry worked as foreman for Cargill in California, Missouri, and then he worked for Wayne Hardin Trash Service in Versailles. He later worked at Joe Thomas Furniture in Versailles and then Fasco in Eldon. He most recently worked for Keiper in Eldon.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He was a member of the Yahweh Church of Eldon.
He is survived by his mother, Delores Sidebotton of the home; his sisters, Laura Wood and husband George of Odessa, Missouri and Linda Lietzke and husband Stephen of Goodyear, Arizona; his niece, Barbara Lynn Lietzke of Sun City, Arizona; his nephews, Stephen Hunter Lietzke of Sun City, Arizona, Erik Sargent and wife Christine of Hannibal, Missouri, and Mark Sargent of Ft. Carson, Colorado; his great-niece and great-nephew, Berkley Sargent and Hagan Sargent, both of Hannibal, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Larence Sidebottom, his maternal grandmother, Gladys Fern McDow, and his paternal grandparents, John and Maise Sidebottom.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, in the West Lawn Addition of the Versailles Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
