Mrs. Baker was born in Syracuse [born "Stanislawa" to Joseph and Amelia (nee Mielnicki) Lambrych]. and attended Transfiguration School. She moved to LaFayette in 1984 from Syracuse.
She worked for Remington Rand, Syracuse China and W.J. Baker Real Estate in Fayetteville. Mrs. Baker was a member of the American Business Women Association and an avid bowler.
Her husband, Harold, died in 1988. A son, Thomas, died in 1989.
Surviving are four sons, Terry and Brian, both of North Syracuse, Lance of Cicero and David of Baldwinsville; a daughter, Emily Grover of LaFayette; two brothers, Zygmund and Edmund Lambrych, both of Syracuse; three sisters, Genevieve Haberek and Harriet Gallucci, both of Syracuse, and Irene Whitlatch of Roscoe; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home. Burial is in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 6033 Cherry Valley Road, LaFayette.
