He was born Nov. 9, 1937, the son of Ben and Thora (Harstad) DeLagoon. He attended school, and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1955. He joined the U.S. Navy, serving from 1960 to 1964. He moved to Seattle, Wash., and worked for Boeing for 30 years until he retired. Phillip then moved to Palm Coast, Fla., and recently to Twin Falls, Idaho.
He is survived by a son, Alan, of Stockton, Calif.; two brothers, Frans (Terri) of Auburn, Wash., and Bennie of Fergus Falls; one sister, Katy (Donald) Wiese of Elbow Lake; an aunt, Gerda Okerlund of Fergus Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary (DeLagoon) Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
