EDGEWATER -- Isabel M. Barber, 79, of Royal Palm Drive, a resident since 2000, died Friday at Ocean View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Smyrna Beach.
Mrs. Barber, a former production worker in the pharmaceutical industry, was born in Queens, N.Y., and moved here from East Greenbush, N.Y. She was a member of the Edgewater Shuffleboard Club. Mrs. Barber enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing board games and cards.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; a son, Stephen, East Greenbush; three daughters, Ann Marie Ayers, New Smyrna Beach, Maureen Groboski, Edgewater, and Deborah Barber-Garreau, Port Orange; a sister, Peggy Peck, Queens; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Edgewater Alliance Church, 310 N. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater, FL 32132. Baldwin Brothers Memorial, New Smyrna Beach, is in charge.
