DOROTHY J. DYER, 73, of Staffordville, Eagleswood Township, died Monday at Southern Ocean County Hospital.
Mrs. Dyer was a homemaker and formerly worked for Beach Haven Laundry.
She was a founder member of Cedar Run Assembly of God Church.
Born in Pleasantville, she lived in Staffordville for 46 years.
Surviving are three sons, Elwood Jr. of Staffordville, Dennis of Cedar Run, Stafford Township, and John of North Carolina; two daughters, Joan Hartman of Waretown and Judy Holloway of Mayetta, Stafford Township; a brother, Jack Truex of Mayetta; two sisters, Gladys Truex of Staffordville and Jane Barfoot of North Beach Haven; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Run Assembly of God Church, where friends may call after 9 a.m.
Burial will be in West Creek Cemetery, under the direction of the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, Stafford Township.
