Roy was the only son of Charles Jay Cady and Anna (Doyle) Cady.

Private First Class, U. S. Army.

Private First Class Cady was a member of the 38th. Infantry Regiment, 2nd. Infantry Division. He was killed in Action while fighting in North Korea on November 26, 1950.

Private First Class Cady was awarded the Purple Heart posthumously.
