Joy Ann Etter passed away at her home in Stilwell, OK on October 13, 2011 at the age of 76. She was born in Prague, OK to J. L. Guthrie and Elva Hustell on July 7, 1935.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Stephen Paul Etter II; three brothers, and her parents.

Joy is survived by her husband; four sons; daughter-in-law; three daughters; son-in-law; twelve grandchildren and spouses; and thirteen great grandchildren along with other relatives and a host of friends.

Joy was married to her husband Donald Paul Etter for 58 years. Together they travelled the United States for many years sharing their love for the gospel of Christ. She is the co-founder of Daystar Pantry in Stilwell. Second to her love for Christ she admired, cherished, and loved her seven children. She also shared a gift of love for her little dogs.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Collinsville, Ok under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
