MRS. TOM COUGHLIN DEAD
Wife of Former Mt. Pleasant Man Passes Away in Kansas City.
-------------------------
Mrs. Ray Myers received the sad word this morning of the death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Tom Coughlin, who passed away early this morning in a Kansas City hospital, following a short illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Coughlin came here from their home in Des Moines to spend the holidays at the Myers home. It was while in the city that Mrs. Coughlin was suddenly taken ill with intestinal trouble, from which she had suffered some time previous, and she, accompanied by her husband and Mrs. Myers was taken to Kansas City where she was placed in a hospital for treatment.
Though her condition was known to be very serious the death comes as a great shock to friends of the family.
No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral except that the body will come here tomorrow morning.
