"OLIVER, Roy -- 75, died at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital 6:10 p.m. Saturday. Survivors: wife, Bessie of Bean Station; sons, Fred of Bean Station, Earl of Rutledge; daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Akers and Miss Frances Oliver, both of Bean Station, Mrs. Nellie Atkins of Thorn Hill; brothers, Jim and Doyle, both of Thorn Hill; stepsons, L. C. Stratton of Thorn Hill, Roy Stratton of Rutledge; stepdaughters, Mrs. Chrsitine Hixon of Rutledge, Mrs. Dorothy Cummings of Knoxville; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Noeton Primitive Baptist Church, Rev. Olaf Atkins and Rev. Johnny Atkins officiating. Interment in Noeton Cemetery. Family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m.. Monday.
