George was the son of George and Lena Hall. He was eight years old and in the third grade. He was very mischievous and never cared much about going to school. He often had an excuse so he could stay out and play. George was killed along with his sister, Willa, and 43 others when their school was bombed by a disgruntled employee. It remains as the worst attack upon a school in the history of the United States.
