Obituary:

Swanton--Lloyd Edward Parrish, 79, died yesterday at his home.

Born at Frostburg, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Warnick) Parrish. A veteran of World War I, he was a retired employe [sic] of the B&O Railroad and was a member of Victory Post 155, American Legion at Westernport.

Surviving are his widow, Floda (Sweitzer) Parrish; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Teets and [name withheld], both of Crellin, and Mrs. Clara Paugh, Baltimore; six sons, [name withheld], at home, Lloyd Parrish, Ogden, Utah; Sgt. Edward Parrish, with the Marines at Parris Island, S.C.; [name withheld], Washington; Sp/5 [name withheld], with the Army in Thailand, and [name withheld], Stanton, Calif.; 25 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The body is at the Minnish Funeral Home, Oakland, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m. by Rev. Charles Teets. Burial will be in the George Cemetery.
