Mr. Victor Lee Clifton, 79, of Asheville, N.C., died Wednesday, November 6, 1996 at Ashville. Born February 12, 1917 at Hamilton, Ala., he was the son of the late Lee Clifton and Doshia Lewis Clifton.
Mr. Clifton leaves his wife, Mrs. Juanita Lott Clifton, of Ashville; two daughters: Mrs. Patsy Raines of Holland, MO., and Mrs. Joy Loyd of Little Rock, Ark; one son, Carl Clifton, of Cooter, MO.; Mrs. Jewell Gentry of Crovis, CA:, a cousin who was reared in the Clifton home; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Clifton were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 1996, at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Steele, MO.; with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Bond, David Bond, Gabby Bond, Lee Clifton, Shane Adkisson, and Heath Adkisson.
