Red Gardner served in the U.S. Navy for seven years, serving in World War II and Korea.He married Gladys Lavern Husung Aug 14, 1954 in Killeen, Texas. Harold retired at Fort Hood with Civil Service after 35 years.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge Killeen Downtown for 51 years; Woodsman of the World; and Gilmore Senior Center, where he was past president. Red loved to play dominoes, he started playing at the age of 9 and played regularly since then. He also coached little league baseball and attended every Killeen High School football game for over 50 years.
