Mrs Minna Resse
Widow of Judge W.B. Reese Dies at Sewanee

news has been received here from Sewanee announcing the dath of Mrs. Minna Rutledge Reese, widow of Judge William B. Reese, both former prominent residents of Nashville. Judge Reese died a number of years ago. Mrs Reese is survived by two daughters, mrs. Benjamin Bosworth Smith, of Montgomery Ala., and Mrs. Edmund Felder, of Columbia S.C.

All her life Mrs. Reese was a devout member of the Episcopal church, and her character was one of marked gentleness and sweetness which contributed a vast store of love and comfort to her family and many devoted friends. She was a representative of South Carolina's distinguished families, the Rutledge and Middleton connections, and was a typical exponent of the grace and refinement of a southern lady of the old school.

her body was taken to Nashville and interred in the old City Cemetery, where Judge Reese is buried. He was a distinguished jurist and lawyer and was a student and writer of note.
