Ronald Eugene Lipsmeyer

Born October 18, 1943 in Auburn, Calif., journeyed peacefully home with his wife, sons and family by his side after a brief illness, on September 24, 2011 at the age of 67.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Georgia Lipsmeyer and his sister Gail Tallman (Gary). He is survived by his wife of 30 years Pat. He was the love of her life. His children Jon Lipsmeyer (Leanna), Michael Lipsmeyer (Carmela) and his stepson Jeff Smyth. His grandchildren Kindal, Adam, Carl, Kayla, Anna, Blake and Austen. His brothers Larry Lipsmeyer (Alora) and Gary Lipsmeyer (Heather). His sisters Arna Hall (Bob), Margie Chenowith (Terry), Linda Johnson (Myron) and Rhonda Sims (David). Also many loving nieces and nephews.
Ron was raised in Auburn and attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Placer High School in 1961. He also attended Sierra College. Ron will always be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, love of sports, puzzles of all kinds and his love of telling stories. He was an avid golfer and loved playing golf with his sons. Over the past 30 years Ron and Pat traveled and cruised making many wonderful memories. Ron was loved for his kindness and generosity and his memory and love will live in our hearts always.
At his request, no funeral services will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Ron's 3rd son while married to Nancy Bolton-Rawles (1972-1978), Shaun Matthew Lipsmeyer (born 1976). Shaun now resides in So. Oregon.
