Mrs. Margaret E. Day, aged 58 years, died Feb 5, 1923, at her home four miles west of Nashville, after a lingering illness of la grippe. The funeral, conducted by Rev. Haley, was held at the Jackson Creek Church, yesterday. Interment at the Jackson Creek cemetery. Mrs. Day was the wife of Thomas R. Day, who died Jan 18, 1907. She joined the Christian church when quite young, and was loved by all who knew her. The surviving children are Ida M. Chitwood, of near Trelac; Charles W. Day, at Bellflower, Illinois; John L. Day, of near Nashville; Morton Day, at Bloomington, Ind.; Frank J. Day, at Peoria, Ill.; Arlie R. Day, at New Castle, Ind.; and Ollie V. Rose, at the homestead.
