PABLO S. YANEZ

Services for Pablo S. Yanez, 87, 1905 W. Pierce St., are pending with West Funeral Home. He died Jan. 7, 1988, in a Roswell hospital.

He was born June 29, 1900 in Barstow, Texas, and moved to Otis in 1923. He married the late Victoria Dominguez on Nov. 24, 1924. He did farm work in the Otis area. He later worked for the Works Project Administration, and the air base until it closed. Following the closure of the air base, he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and retired after working there for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Justo Yanez and Frank Yanez, both of Carlsbad; three daughters, Mary Rodriguez and Mickie Methola, both of Carlsbad, and Helen Molinar, Tucson, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Rosary is to be recited Sunday at 7 p.m. in the West Funeral Home chapel for Pablo S. Yanez, 87, 706 W. Irvin St. He died Jan. 7, 1988, in a Roswell hospital.

Mass is to be said Monday at 10 a.m. in the San Jose Mission with the Franciscan Fathers conducting the service. Burial will be in Santa Catarina Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Patrick Methola, John Methola, Paul Yanez, Orlando Rodriguez, Michael Yanez, Gerald Molinar and Willie Molinar.
