She married Leon Tollett in 1974.

She was preceded in death by her sons - Horace Wayne Hopkins, Richards Dean Hopkins, Johnny Joe Hopkins; four sisters - Juanita Faye McDonald, Ruby Fustana Procelle, Dorothy Sue McDuffie, and Martha Pearl Wilson; two brothers - J.T. Scurlock and Johnnie Darrell Scurlock.

Survived by husband; daughter - Tommie Lou Tollett of Amarillo, son - Clint Wade Hopkins, Jr. of Irving; step-sons - Dennis Tollett of Granite, OK; Bobby Tollett of Amarillo; step-daughter - Patricia Grizzle of Canyon; 29 grandchildren; 54 great-great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
