Mrs. C.C. Thorne died last Thursday at the family home in Waldron, and the remains were interred Friday at the Duncan graveyard. Mrs. Thorne was 73 years of age and had been a resident of this community for many years where the family has many friends. She was a member of the Methodist church, and the funeral service was held at the residence conducted by her pas¬tor Rev. G.C. Johnson. The aged husband and other relatives have the sympathy of the Record in their bereavement.
