DEATH OF MRS. WALLEY—The wife of Hon. S.H. Walley, of Roxbury, died last week after an illness of but a few days.

Mrs. Walley was a daughter of the late Hon. Isaac T. Bates, of Northampton, and leaves a family of seven children. The cause of her death is stated to nave been lockjaw, which, on Wednesday, unexpectedly assumed a mortal character. The death of Mrs. Walley will detain Mr. Walley from his duties at the opening of Congress.
