died at his home three miles west of Walters, Monday night at nine o'clock. He was born in Illinois, February 9, 1853, making him 66 years, 11 months and 3 days old. Mr. Perry had been in poor health for more than a year, but his health had improved considerably of late.

On Thursday morning of last week, while out walking around his house, he slipped and fell upon the ice receiving injuries that caused him to fail rapidly until death came as a result.

Mr. Perry was a quiet unassuming man and was strictly honest and upright in his dealings with his fellow man. He leaves a wife and two sisters, Mrs. W. D. Jackman of Marshall, Mo., and Mrs. Carl Stilson of Boonville, Mo., besides a host of friends and relatives to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the home at 12:30, with Rev. Haskins conducting the services. Interment in the I. O. O. F. cemetery Wednesday afternoon.
