Ubert Krisher died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Krisher, north-east of town on Friday, April 20th at 11:30 at the age of 13 years, 8 months and 23 days.

About two years ago Ubert had a severe attack of rheumatism.

He recovered and was in apparently good health but his heart

was left with a bad leakage. About the first of the year he again became ill and suffered continuously until death relieved his pain. During his last

illness he was unable to lie down and rest more than a half dozen times. He had to stand up or sit on the edge of a chair.

He was a true Christian and bore his suffering patiently. Some

time ago he won a faithful attendance badge for faithful attendance

at Sunday school. Near the end when he knew death was coming he

asked that this badge be placed upon his breast when he was

dead. He remained conscious to the last and had no regrets at

the approach of death.

Mr. and Mrs. Krisher have had eleven children and Ubert's death

brings the first break in the family circle.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock by Rev. Nelson of the Methodist church and burial was had at Walters cemetery.

In this great plan of life and death who shall say death is not good and that it only opens the door to peace and joy and rest and forever closes it upon pain and worry, sadness and heartaches. Ubert Krisher has gone to receive his reward for a life faithfully lived.
