Minnie Lucille Billings Weaver, 63, of Troutdale, died Nov. 13, 2010, at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax. She was born Feb. 4, 1947 at Troutdale to Opal and Belva Brown Billings. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Leo Jackson (Jack) Weaver of the home; one son, David Leo Weaver of Saltville; her mother, Belva Billings of Troutdale; one sister, Geraldine Murray of Troutdale; three brothers and spouses, Louis and Teresa Billings of Sugar Grove, Bob Billings of Troutdale, and Harold and Eadie Billings of Greenville, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Comers Creek Baptist Church, Troutdale, with the Rev. Ken Riggins and the Rev. Andy Blevins officiating. Interment was conducted in Comers Creek Cemetery. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, was in charge of arrangements.
