Bonnie Spalding Jenkins, 94, Kansas City, MO, passed away May 16, 2003, at North Kansas City Hospital, of pneumonia. Services were Sunday, May 18, at St. Luke Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity Northland, P.O. Box 231, Liberty, MO.
Mrs. Jenkins was born January 1, 1909, near Eugene, MO. She was a mother of five, grandmother of nine, and a great-grandmother of 11. She lived at Garden Village for 11 years and made many friends. After 28 years as a seed analyst at Iowa State University, she retired and moved to the Kansas City area to be near her family. She was a member of St. Theresa parish.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland; her daughter, Joyce; her sister, Geralding; her brothers, William and Lonnie. Survivors include the immediate family, her daughter, Gaynelle Moore, and her sons, Duane, James and Ronald Jenkins.
