Former Resident Dies in Portland
EUGENE, Ore. - Mrs. Millie Lowry McFarland died Oct. 1, 1957, at the Veteran's hospital in Portland. Burial was Oct. 5 at Sandpoint, Idaho.
She was the niece of Mrs. Mary Pierce in Ritzville, Washington and graduated from the Ritzville high school in 1917. She made her home with Mrs. Pierce for three years.
Other survivors were her sons, Earl McFarland of Eugene, Donald McFarland of Berkeley, Calif., and John McFarland of Wenatchee.
