"OVERBAY--Gabe, 80, of Bean Station, died at his home, noon Sunday, after a long illness. He was a member of Norton [sic] Church. Survivors are: daughters, Martha, Eliza, and Eula of Bean Station, and Mrs. Chrissie Davis of Morristown; sons, Will and Dewey of Bean Station; brother, V. Overbay, and six grandchildren. Funeral services Tuesday, 10 a. m., from Norton [sic] Church, with interment in family cemetery, near the home. Rev. Olaf Atkins and Rev. Charlie Williams officiating. Horton's of Morristown in charge."
