Miss Lauren Careen Cooper, age 22, of Woodstock, GA died Sunday, August 20, 2006. A 2002 graduate of Etowah High School, Lauren was currently a junior at Kennesaw State University, majoring in marketing. She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church.
Lauren is survived by her parents, Jack and Nancy Cooper of Woodstock; her maternal grandparents, A.G. and Polly Pulliam of Marietta, GA; her sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Frank Taunton of Valley, AL; her niece, Kaelynne Taunton; her uncles, Alan Pulliam of Atlanta, GA; Charles R. Cooper of Jacksonville, FL; David E. Cooper of St. Augustine, FL and Joseph B. Cooper of Lanett, AL and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, in Marietta, with Dr. Randy Mickler officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, August 25 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Patterson's Canton Hill Chapel in Marietta. Memorial tributes to Lauren and her family may be posted by visiting www.mem.com.
