MINNIE ETTA KURASAKA, 75, Hamilton, died on Sunday, October, 11, 1992, at the Marion County Nursing Home. She was born on November 26, 1912, in Marion County, the daughter of James R. Green and Arkie Dora Belk. She was the widow of the late Sego Kurasaka and was a housewife.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 13, 1992, at 1 p.m. from the Shiloh Church with burial in the Love Joy Cemetery. Louis Coker was the officiating minister.
Survivors include five daughters - Irene Barnes, Joan Cox, and Marie Jo, all of Hamilton, Jean McCurdy, Stone Mountain, GA., and Jan Moyer, Kailua, HI; three sons - Douglas T. Kurasaka, Snellville, GA., Dwight H. Kurasaka, Ridgeville, S.C. and Gerald D. Kurasaka, Columbus, MS.; two sisters - Ann Handley, Austell, Ga., and Estelle Frankforther, Toledo, OH; five brothers - Delton Green and Duel Green, both of Hamilton, Hardin Green, Orlando, FL, James I. Green, Raleigh, N.C., and Johnny E. Green, Phoenix, AZ; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Hamilton Funeral Home of Hamilton directed the services.
