Mrs. Annie E. Mumford, widow of Charles E. Mumford, of Middletown, died at the Frederick Memorial Hospital Wednesday night, aged 74 years. She was a daughter of the late George and Mary Brown Bidle, of near Middletown. She was a devout member of the Lutheran church, Middletown, and the Willing Workers class of the Sunday school.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ralph E. Culler, this city; Mrs. Mary M. Morgan, Middletown, and Miss Amy V. Mumford, at home. Two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, on sister, Mrs. Ada F. Main, and one brother, George A. Bidle, Middletown, also survive.
The body rests at the funeral home in Middletown where services will be held Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Rev. Howard J. McCarney will officiate. Interment in Lutheran cemetery, Middletown.
