Isaac N. Smith, aged 70 yeats, for many years a resident of Charleston, moving this spring to a farm five miles south of Trilla, died at the family home at 5:10 this morning, following a stroke of paralysis, which he received last Thursday. Mr. Smith was on the road to recovery, when he was visitied by a second stroke this morning and his death followed in a few minutes.

The remains will be brought to Charleston at noon Friday and will be taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas E. Snyder, 937 Division street, from which place the funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon. Burial will be made in Mound cemetery.

The deceased was a veteran of the Civil war and was a man that was liked and respected by everyone. He is a survided by his wife and two children, Mrs. Thomas Snyder and Mrs. Alta Gunn, both of this city.
