He was a teacher at St. John Lutheran School in Napoleon, Ohio for 4 years and Trinity Lutheran School for 33 years. John was a life-long athletic director and basketball coach.
John is survived by his wife, Sandy (Davis) Pride; daughters, Beth (Jim) Knight and Lindsey (Chris) Bramell; grandchildren, Peyton, Olivia and Carson; father, Woodrow Pride; and sisters, Jean Pride, Pauline Grandors and Sheryl Jones.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Pride; and brothers, Woodrow Pride, Jr. and William Pride.
