October 19, 1984 [1] Harold (By) Macy____ Harold Byford (By) Macy, 82, 2310 Edgewater Terrace West Palm Beach, Florida, a native of Decatur, died Wednesday Oct 10, after and extended illness. He formerly operated an auto dealership in West Palm Beach. He was born Nov. 6, 1901, in Adams County to Edward and Bessie Hocker Macy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Macy was in the U.S. Navy for a number of years. Survivors include the wife, Lucille E.; a daughter, Mary Kay O'Neal, Indian Harbor Beach, Fla.; a grand-daughter Dawn Renee O'Neal, Indian Harbor Beach; and a sister, Mary M. Petersen, West Palm Beach. His brother Ishmael Macy died in 1934. Burial was held Oct. 13 in Hillcrest Cemetery, West Palm Beach.
