Cindy Moore Richards, 53 passed from this life into the arms of Jesus with her family by her side on October 10, 2011 in Jackson.
Cindy was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, and friend to many. She enjoyed cooking, planning holiday events, decorating, travel and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a graduate of South Jones High School and attended Jones County Junior College. She was a self-employed life insurance agent who enjoyed helping others. She was also a member of the Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson.
Cindy is survived by her dear mother, Lanell Moore, Ellisville; husband of 35 years Perry Richards, Jackson, sons; James Nicholas , Adam Blake, and daughter, Katy Elizabeth Richards, of Hattiesburg.
She was preceded in death by her father; James T."Jim" Moore, Ellisville on September 6, 2011.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 at Riverside Baptist Church in Ellisville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at Riverside Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation at (972) 248-9200.
