Mrs. Custer was born in Lima June 8, 1885. She married Guy Custer and lived in Abilene, Tex. for 25 years and in Dallas since 1963.
Mrs. Custer was an artist and an author of children's stories. Her husband, who preceded her in death, was a supervisor of the Lone Star Gas Co.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Judson S. Custer of Georgetown, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Charles G. Barndt of Dallas; and three grandchildren.
