ROBERT C. "BOB" HARLOW, JR.

Robert C. "Bob" Harlow, Jr. was born April 29, 1932 in Colorado City to R. C. Harlow Sr. and Velma Bell Cherry Harlow. He married Leta LaVerne Curtis on Nov. 24, 1951 in Odessa. He is survived by his wife Leta Harlow, Three children, Cherry Scheible, Mickey Harlow, Sonja Owensby and husband Jimmy Owensby all of Odessa. Six Grandchildren Kristi Thompson, Monica Aguilar, Shelby Pruden, Chris Harlow, Dylan Owensby, Leah Owensby. 7 Great grandchildren. A brother Russell Harlow and wife Linda of Odessa, Sister Dorothy Guyett of Comanche Texas.

He Served in the Korean War 1952-1954 for the U S Army. He is owner of Industrial Parts Service Supply, Inc. He never retired and was always a very dedicated to his business. He had a lifetime hobby of Drag racing, Drag boat racing, Modified tractor pulling, and Antique tractor pulling. He loved to collect and restore Antique "John Deere" tractors.

He loved his family and friends, and his pet donkeys and his dogs (Booger and Little One). He lived a long and full life and for the last few years has been battling with Diabetes and several other illnesses. He will be "greatly" missed by his family and friends. He is leaving us with many great memories.

The family would like to thank Dr. J. B. Naidu, his nurses and staff for taking care of him. Also thank the staff at Park's Methodist and Home Hospice.

A family visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Hubbard- Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Dr. Cecil Maxey officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
